After having our property for sale with different realty companies,
we went to several Col. Rene’ Brass auctions, and decided that that was the way to go! Col. Rene’ and her crew were very professional in all aspects. Mary and I were very nervous, but by the end of the day we were ready to head to our new home in Florida. We still love the Crandon area and will be back for some of the summer. Can’t take the cold weather is the reason we moved to Florida.

Prior to selling our home, Gary & I attended numerous Col. Rene’ Brass Auctions. We observed the ever increasing numbers of people who had sold their homes using the auction method. After 2 years of using conventional methods and getting little or no results, it was time to Col. Rene’ Brass auctions. Immediately we knew this was the right decision. In 2 weeks there were many interested parties at our open house. In 4 weeks there were a number of solid pre-approved bidders, who knew the house was to be auctioned on this day. How exciting!! With in 15 minutes, the bidding was done. We were asked if the price met our approval. (We could accept or refuse this offer) without hesitation, we accepted, due to the fact the price exceeded our expectations. A sizable down payment (nonrefundable) was made and a closing date was set. Within a matter of days, from the time Col. Rene’ Brass explained the process, we had our money and all commissions were paid by the buyer.

“Why would you even attempt to sell a house at auction?”
We have been to numerous Col.Rene’ Brass Auctions, and witnesses first hand, a few Real Estate Properties being sold at auction. So when we were faced with selling my mother’s home in Phillips, WI, we decided to give Rene’ a chance to sell it. After seeing how successful Rene’ was at selling other real estate, we weren’t at all apprehensive.-(many people thought we should be). “Why would you even attempt to sell a house at auction?” “Isn’t that kind of risky?” These are the questions we kept hearing from our friends and neighbors, from the time it was announced until the day of the auction. Well, the house sold in less than 30 minutes of auction time with no contingencies, and for a price that was exactly what we were hoping for. Closing was in 29 days, with no problems along the way. It was a cash sale, so closing only took about 10 minutes, in OUR home. WOW! It doesn’t get any better than that. Rene’ and Bob were very enthusiastic and efficient at handling the auctioning portion of the sale. Karla was equally efficient in handling the Offer to Purchase and all of the other follow-up paperwork. And Linda did a superb job with the Closing. All said, the entire process was an enjoyable experience.
